Tropical Power Coast2Coast Adventure Race 2009

BAM... Coverage of this year’s Tropical Power Coast2Coast Adventure Race is up and ready to rock your browser. We shot this race with a smaller crew and some really cool gear. Then, leaving Madamas on Saturday morning, we threw half that gear in the sea. Oh well... it was holding us back anyway.

By now everybody knows how we shoot this race so I won’t bore you with the details this year - except to say that I’m the most comfortable with my crew than I ever have been: Lisa Holley, Dos, Anton Modeste, Anthony Fung, Jonathan O’Connor are right there with me the whole time and this year we were supported by Brett Lewis, Anna Cadiz and Brianne Laurayne. Familiar names, familiar faces - good to know when you’re looking up at them from the bottom of a ravine after having fallen on your camera.

The day after shooting the Coast2Coast race we start waiting the other 364 days until we get to do it again...

As usual, massive respect to Eco Adventures for putting this race on every year - and the title sponsor Tropical Power, without whom this race would just ‘happen’... in the bush... with nary a soul to see... Tropical Power are the ones who embed jtography in the race and it is for them that we hit the shutter button.
